Solved! (Monitor Audio Out) Noisy right headphone

Bought ViewSonic 2719-sh 27 inch monitor few days ago, I'm using it with PS4. When I plug headphones in the monitor's audio out, right phone makes noise but when I insert the jack only half way in then the volume lowers a little but the noise disappears. Same headphones work fine with my laptop and phone. I've yet to try another headphone, perhaps speakers with external power source. I was wondering what you guys think, could it be faulty audio out port, should I take it for replacement?

Have you tried a different HDMI cable? I'd try that before you try to replace the monitor. Also try the monitor on another device and see if the problem follows.

Try other headphones or speakers with the monitor. That will tell you for sure that the monitor is the problem. If the cable or PC settings were at fault you would most likely get no sound.
