as per title, each time i start my computer from sleep the monitor appears with all these lines across it. its not static, the colour behind it is the background. unplugging and replugging the hdmi cable fixes it, it totally goes away and turns back to normal. and it doesnt randomly happen when the computer is on, only when waking up. ive checked the refresh rate, for a 60hz screen it was usually set at 60hz in display settings but i tried lowering it to other rates and still the same problem. i cant find any similar problems across the internet, most people have vertical lines instead.
the cable is fine, ive tested it on other things. its about 6 years old now so its getting on, but really it shouldnt be doing this when the rest of the time it works perfectly fine?
