Hello Guys,

Couple of days back I`ve purchased Sony mono amp named as XM-GS100 for my 2 JBL woofers GT5-S12s.

Each woofer have 300 Watts RMS rated at 4 ohms.

Now im confused how to wire up the 2 woofers with this sony amp.
Whether I can go for bridge (+ - ) or parallel (+ - - +)

Below are the amp specs:

>>> CHANNEL CONFIGURATION
Mono

>>> MAX. CHANNEL POWER CONFIGURATION AT 4 OHM
600W x 1

>>> MAX. CHANNEL POWER CONFIGURATION AT 2 OHMS
1100W x 1

>>> FREQUENCY RESPONSE
10-300Hz

Solution
For parallel....connect the positive of both speakers to the positive of the amp and connect the negative of both speakers to the negative of the amp.

"600W x 1 at 4ohms.
but it has 2 terminals and they said x1, please clear that bro. actually im new to this."

I'm a bit unclear on this *the two terminal part)...but the way I told you to wire it.....you should get 1100W.

The "x1" means it's one channel.

Thanks Jay,

Also one more thing that, it has 2 -ve +ve terminals like this (+ - - +)
So for parallel how would i connect them, can I connect each woofer -ve +ve wires to amp -ve +ve
and same with the other woofer ?

Also want to know bro that it also said 600W x 1 at 4ohms.
but it has 2 terminals and they said x1, please clear that bro. actually im new to this.
