Walkthrough:
This is one of the quests where you will have to kill a monster that is bigger and powerful. This is a completely new monster and is a native to Elder’s Recess.
Although it is a bit weaker monster in Elder’s Recess it still is quite powerful, the name of the monster is Lavasioth. Your objective is to track and kill Lavasioth.
If you successfully complete this quest, you will be rewarded with a more than adequate amount of 12600z. You will be given a window of 50 minutes to complete this quest and if you do not complete it in this amount of time, you will fail the quest. Also, if you faint three times during the quest, you will fail it but you should be fine as you have fought more powerful monsters before. So in order to start the quest, you will be required to have a Hunter Rank of 13 or more which you should have by now. So with the basic of the quest out of the way, let’s start it:
- Before you go on the quest to killing the monster, you should take a lot of cool liquids with you. This is because this monster stays in the hot areas where you can take heat damage. When it comes to finding the monster, remember that its lair is in the AREA 10 but you can also expect it to spend a significant piece of its offensive in the AREA 11 while moving towards the AREA 7.
- Once you find the monster, you will then have to engage with it. Remember that the Lavasioth likes to slither around on the belly that is a slow and low damage charge attack that has a primary purpose of leaving a trail of lava that will be found at the significant portions of the ground.
- Also keep in mind that the Lavasioth spits the globs of explosive magma that is much like the Dodogama. You can however dodge these attacks just remember that it spits the magma in succession so make sure to dodge it accordingly.
- The fin, tail, body and head of the Lavasioth are breakable and the belly and head are the most receptive to the damage especially the head. When the lava of the Lavasioth is soft, it will be weak against water but when it is hard it will be very less susceptible to the fire damage and less vulnerable to the water damage. Lastly, it is very susceptible to water.
Fight the monster while keeping these things in mind and once you kill it, carve it and you will end the quest. Once the quest is completed, you will be rewarded with 12600z.
