Motherboard upgrade utilities

Hello,is there a utility that can see what hardware i have and recommend what motherboard to upgrade to and still lets me use the same cpu ram etc

Nope. CPUZ will give you some good details about what you have though, then you can look around and see what motherboards work with your CPU.

i would have thought one of the motherboard makers would have one but to only recommended there own boards

You can download SIW (system informaton for windows). It'll give you detailed information.

I don't think you'll find any software that recommends hardware upgrades. That just takes a little research.
