Sorry to say but the Motorola Surf Board 4200 was a discontinued model and they are no longer supporting Docsis 2.0 for anything over windows vista as of current.
Reason being is they are now producing Docsis 3.0 as the new replacement since Fibre Optic networks are now being put in place throughtout most of the world.

If you have Time-Warner/RoadRunner then you are most likely still on DOCSIS 2.0 This modem will work for you.
