mouse and keyboard not work in windows

hello Dear
my notebook is model asus X450LD ,
this keyboard and touch pad not work, when i boot system is active but load window 7 is not active
i will change windows but i dont boot from dvd writer
please help me !!!

Hi,

First, connect a USB mouse and keyboard just to see if it's a hardware or software issue.
- If both device will work using an external keyboard and mouse it can be a possible hardware problem.
- But if it still won't work with an external device you may need to perform a complete factory reset.
- Since you mentioned that the mouse and keyboard will still work while the laptop is loading to the desktop you can still do a factory reset.
- On the Asus splash screen repeatedly tap on F9.
- Press Enter when Windows Boot Manager appears. Just follow the on screen instructions.
- Select Recover Windows to Entire HD and click Next.
- It may take awhile but if this will not work you may need to order a Recovery Disk from Asus.
