Mouse clicking on its own every 10-15 minutes causes much frustration-Dell latitude

Every 10-15 minutes my laptop starts rapidly clicking on anything and everything. When I unplug my mouse it keeps going and I don’t think it’s dirt in the mouse pad since it’s not all the time but in intervals.

Sounds like you have a virus, malware or something similar on the device. I would suggest running some good scans with a few different programs.
