Mouse is not working

Hello, I have had a Sharkoon Fireglider mouse for almost a year now and I never had problems with it but today I installed a game on steam and it didn't work so I restarted my pc and suddenly my mouse would connect on startup and after a couple of seconds it would just disconnect and not work, I have searched everywhere trying to find a solution but I just can't find anything, my laptop is an Asus a55vd sx030v, my guess is that my mouse got disabled somehow but I can't find anything. At mouseproperties it says it is fine. Can anyone help me?

I also found out that there is a process missing in my taskhost which normally is for controlling my mouse, it doesn't start the program on startup. Any idea on how to manually start this or why this isn't starting?
