Mouse stopped working, buttons don't work, lights don't work, cursor doesn't move.

Hi, I just bought a new mouse and suddenly it stopped working.
Cursor doesn't move, buttons don't work, all lights turned off.
I have a mouse that has a setting where it lights up. When I use this setting there is 1 lamp that is flashing.
I had the same problem with my previous mouse so I am fairly certain it is a problem with my laptop.
I tried every method I could find, Device Manager, restart laptop, use different port, use different batteries etc.
Please help me!

Mouse work OK on another computer? Other USB devices work OK on your laptop?

Try this:

1. Unplug mouse.

2. Restart laptop without mouse plugged in.

3. When Windows has finished loading completely, plug mouse back in.
