Move my curse on my Acer laptop

My mouse on my Acer laptop won't appear so I can't move it

Need more details here, Windows starts up OK, but when you move the mouse you don't see the cursor? Sometimes it likes to hid on some background color, move it slowly and see if you can catch it moving around. Does hitting the Windows Key on the laptop bring up the menu? Can you move around with the keyboard up/down/side keys?
