How there! How do I stream video/movie from my LG8 to my t.v., which isn't a smart TV, but I can get Netflix on it, through Dish. I have other movie apps I'd like to try on the big screen instead of my phone. Is it possible without chromecast or firestick, or some sort of "dongle" (gah THAT word

A chromecast would work, but if you are just going to be using the programs on the phone to view movies, you can just get a Firestick which has all those apps built in like Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, AmazonPrime, etc..
