moving pictures to my SD card

how do I move my pictures to my SD card on an Alcatel Idol One Touch I have tried everything by going to files and then copying but there's nowhere where I can paste like it says to move to SD card can someone please help me out with this

Have you tried connecting the phone, via USB, to a computer and moving them that way? You would just open the correct folders, then cut and paste to the new folder.

This would also give you the opportunity to put a copy of the photos on the computer as well. This way, should something happen to your phone, you still have all the images.
