I'm new to this stuff, always just bought a small set from walmart. But, I listen to more music and watch a lot of full HD and I'd like to hear it in a higher quality point than I usually have.
More or less What card should I get? I would like to find a 5.1 system as well if it's worth it. I'm more focused on the "boom" feeling that rumble in my stomach, the house shaking when an explosive goes off in a game or movie. I want to feel it all.
my motherboard is the P67 extreme4 B3. So, it's older. But, there's a lot of audio connectors I've never used. I figured it would be worth using them if I can rather than buying a new audio card.
My question more or less is what brands are known for good audio stuff. I remember Bose. I had a headset of theirs, was a glorious headset. But, they're stuff seems a bit overpriced or is it just the really high end stuff?
Oh, I don't expect to spend much but $600 would be a limit. I'd prefer staying under it. Don't see a reason to go too crazy on an audio system .
