Solved! MS DOS 7.1 Turning off its own

I have a old lappot with MS DOS 7.1 on it when i got it own it when i boot into it it turns off by itself

7.1 was never really a thing.

But, since this is around 25 years old....the battery is dead. Many laptops won't work without a functioning battery, even if plugged in.
