Hello, recently I have my MSI GE60-2PE and never touched the webcam. After 6 months, when I tried to use it, it cannot work, or should I say disappeared.

So I head into device manager, still can't find it. And I clicked show hidden devices and its there.

BisonCam, NB Pro
Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.

The problem is how do I take apart the laptop? Can tell me what should I do?

*Note: The Issue is now resolved from a combination of keypresses I tried out myself. Thank you for your help hackerk!. :)

Hello, I found out that the webcam uses a switch like combination of key-presses ( Fn + F6 ). However I don't know how they break or reconnect the webcam. Thank you for your help. However, if there are anything else which is missing could it be the real hardware is missing or is the wires un-attached?

Did you turn on hidden devices? if you open the device manager and go to "View" tab up top, select "show hidden devices" in the drop menu. I had the same issue

Yes I agree with Kate Kiddo. There should be one device under the hidden section and a bunch more shadow copy and other's. Can I ask another off-topic question? When does the turbo boost shut's down? For example 90 degrees then its off. Thanks!

Wow. Thanks a lot. That combination really helped me out. I was really freaked out with my webcam not working. All the time it had been turned off. Thanks again..:)

I found this extremely helpful. I had used the camera before, but tried to skype someone and couldn't get the camera to work after installing windows 10. Thank you so much for posting this :)
