Which one would you prefer? I don't play games but I'm heavy PC user, so I need a really well built keyboard, touchpad with adequate multitouch controls (macbook alike) and a lot of horsepower "under the hood". Also there is a need to connect up to 3 monitors. Weight and size is also not a problem but cooling is

Asus dominates in the cooling arena. Nothing on the planet matches the cooling performance of Asus gaming notebooks (the heavy ones not the lightweight ones). I'd get Asus if you want heavy cooling.
