I don't know about that model in particular. In general, the advice is to let a battery run down frequently, because always running it on the mains causes the battery to lose capacity. In fact, both of my notebooks have software options to stop charging at 60% to preserve the battery.

In my LIMITED personal experience this is true. At work I had two batteries for my notebook, one for everyday when it was plugged in and one for travel when I needed battery power.

The laptop in my sig is similar to yours. It has been plugged into the charger 24/7 for the last year, and my battery only shows 4% wear. I'd leave it plugged in and not worry.
