MSI GS60- Should I Plug it In Even if it's Fully Charged?

Since I can't remove the battery without voiding the warranty, and also due to the fact that it has a very short battery life, I wanna know if plugging the laptop while fully charged is safe.

Also, will it still use the battery while fully charged or from the AC outlet?

One more question, is it bad for me to just plug it in, then play games with it, once it's fully charged I will unplug it, then if the battery reaches around 25% I'll recharge, and so on?

Thank You!

All modern rechargeable batteries have a finite number of recharge - discharge cycles it can undergo, before becoming unusable.
So, if you keep it plugged in, the laptop will not discharge significantly. This means, as I explained above, it will undergo much lesser number of the recharge - discharge cycles, which in the long term will mean your battery will last much longer.
The exact opposite will happen if you always use it on battery. It will reach the finite number of recharge - discharge cycle much faster and thus will become unusable much sooner.

You can and you should keep your laptop plugged in while gaming. Playing on battery results in a much lower performance in most laptops.
Keeping it plugged in while using should actually increase your battery life in the long run. Just remember to discharge it to around 30% once a month.
All electronic gadgets nowadays have mechanism to cut off power supply to the battery once it is fully charged, so you don't have to worry about it overcharging and degrading the battery. Also, most batteries' life span depends on the number of times it is discharged and recharged, so if you are putting it through more cycles of recharging and discharging by using it on battery frequently, it will degrade faster.
When you play with your computer plugged in, even if it is fully charged, it runs from the main power supply and not the battery.
Hope this answers all your questions :)
