I am planning on getting a msi gt60 0nc model with gtx 670m card. I would like to know whether this will be future proof and can run next gen games or should i wait for the update?

Must agree with Cons29; If you are planning on next gen gaming as a primary use for the machine, a desktop would be a much better choice.
