MSI GT60 0ND-250US or MSI GT70 0ND-444US

There are minimal differences between the 2. I'm leaning towards the gt60 so its not quite so massive, but will I miss the screen real estate of the GT70? I'm upgrading from an 11.6 inch laptop right now so either will be a big step up.

Main uses are gaming and netflix.

So really, why would I choose the bigger laptop?
Any other suggestions on a $1500 budget are also welcome.

Well.. It all comes down to preference.. If I lugged my Clevo w150er around everywhere I would have gotten a lighter one if I had the choice. I would go with the bigger screen for same price if you don't mind an extra pound of weight. Which may not seem like a lot but oh boy does that pound add a lot. If you do care about weight then go with the smaller one. And I would guess that with netflix the movies might be more enjoyable on a bigger screen...?

Good point... Do 17" laptops get better air movement due to their bigger size? I know gaming laptops can get quite loud with the fans so will a 17" have a better time cooling than a 15" one?

I would check the site you buy it from if they have dual blowers you should be ehh okay, I would still buy a rather nice cooling pad that will last. From the amazon page I cannot tell you if they do or don't. They look like the chassis does/doesn't since the vents are there for 2 blowers but.. Only 1 blower vent is open. I would guess that the 17" has better flow but I doubt the innards are any different from each other. That is usually how laptop companies work.

Both laptops have a 1080p resolution, screen size makes no difference. Thought the 17" has a 675mx which is a faster version of the 675m in the 15"
