Hi I am thinking about getting this laptop after my own research I feel like this laptop has the most bang for the buck
Quick specs:
GTX 870m 3gb vram
1tb hdd
Intel i7 4700mq 2.7 ghZ
8gb ram

I am going to be using this computer for GTA iv (I know it does not have good optimization) with car mods at a playable fps rate
I will also like to play gta v when it comes out at playable fps rate
I just want to be able to play games at playable fps rates can this laptop do this?

How long will this laptop last as being able to play games?
And how long will it last as a regular laptop for light usage?
Thanks!

Yes, however you may want to look into this...http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152549.
It's a bit more expensive, having the better CPU/GPU and added RAM (12G). And, I would recommend getting one with a solid state (SSD), but you can always upgrade that later with a laptop. Which is why i linked the one above.
But to answer your question. You shouldn't have any real problems with your choice. And for the price. It looks quite GOOD!

Thanks for your reply i felt like i wanted to go with the gtx880m but it was a $500 price difference. I did look into it before but originally was going with gtx 860m but felt like 870m was better
Thanks!
