can somebody give me a review for this laptop?im thinking of buying of a good gaming laptop which is not much expensive and if this is not good,can you please recommend an alternative.Thanks for those who will answer

I recommend getting sandy bridge notebooks instead(MSI GT680) because they're notably faster.
I couldn't find a review of it but it's got the same problem as all the "G" series(which is their poor keyboard and an average display)

-err the longer the better.

-yes.cod black ops,assasin's creed brotherhood,fifa 11,modern warfare 2.all in high settings.

-i want to study basic video/photo editing.adobe aftereffects and photoshop would be the software i'll use.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
-500gb

-none at the moment.

-maybe 2-3years

-dvd writer +/- . blu ray reader if there's any,if none its okay.

-im not brand conscious.

-Philippines.

If you can get the GX660 within your price range,then go for it because I think faster models are out of your budget;however,do check on their prices.(Like MSI GT680R)

well somebody said to me that GX660 has poor battery life so i had a doubt on it and posted here.well i found another candidate and can you please compare it with the GX660 on which is the better buy?here's the link Acer Aspire 4750G

oh and btw, GX660 is within my price range here in Ph.but will it be a good buy?performance wise?

GX660 will give you around 2-3hrs of battery life and yes it's the best laptop you can get within your price range.(It's significantly faster than the Aspire 4750G in gaming)

i see.but aside from gaming and if i upgrade aspire 4750G to 6gb ram,would it be better than gx660?overall performance wise?

CPU-wise yes but GPU-wise not at all.
