I have an MSI laptop. Everything is fine until these three things happen:
  1. 4k 49 in monitor attached, extended display
  2. Trading software (TradeStation) maximized on 4k monitor
  3. Power supply plugged in for laptop
The temperature in the cores exceeds 200 degrees! When I unplug the power cord on the laptop, the temps go down to the 100 to 130 range...

I've tried adjust a ton of settings on the Power Plan. I've tried finding CPU frequency in my bios but can't. I have a 5-fan laptop cooling thingy under my laptop. My laptop has been sprayed with air and should be completely dust-free...

No other software makes it run like this!!!

Any ideas?????
