Hello,

I would like to set up 2 Dell external monitors via hdmi cable. I have one hdmi out from my laptop. Is it possible to extend the display with a splitter to 2 additional monitors? If not, how can I accomplish what I am trying to do?

Generally, a laptop will only support one external monitor signal.
A splitter will simply mirror (not extend) the output to 2 screens.

A splitter will only duplicate the signal so it will show the same as the other HDMI monitor. Your only choice is probably a USB display adapter. Note that are for basic desktop use, no gaming.
