My 50inch tv was working and then the tv shut off now I have a black screen but have sound what should I do

Hello... If you take Flashlight to the screen can you see a moving Display? then there is a Back Lighting problem.

1) Sounds like you had a PS board went Bad.
2) or Display tubes went bad ( if Non LED)
3) some other Circuit board problem.
