My Acer Laptop is on the Fritz...

Hello, my acer laptop is acting funny. When I turn it on the start-up screen comes on, nut it takes forever to load and it never does and when you try to press F2,F1, or F8 the screen turns all different colors. Can you tell me what's wrong and how to fix the situation?
