my acer verition screen powers up but wont stay on but you can see the screen with a flashlight

Then the inverter might be fried, the backlight bulb is fried, or the power circuit to the inverter is fried. It's hard to tell sometimes, but usually 90% of the time in my years of experience, I've found it's the inverter that dies and causes this. You can usually find them online or ebay for like $10-$30
