My Android phone won't turn on.

My android phone will not turn on. Its very old, and this happens about 2 times a month. Last time this happened, I took out the battery, and put it back in and then it turned on. I've tried that several times now, and I've held the on button down for over 2 minutes. I have also charged it for 3 days. It still will not turn on. Anyone know what else I can try?

Try a different charger .. the old one might be dead. Also, clean the usb charger socket on the fone with a toothbrush to make sure there is no fluff in it.
