My asus notebook pc screen is black and all i can see is the cursor. it lets me put the password in but the home screen never

I can put my password in and it starts to load but the screen stays black and all I can see is the cursor. how can I fix this???

sounds like a display issue. You will need to get the screen fixed in a pc shop.
