I recently bought an AT2020 condenser microphone, I know that you can't just plug it into the computer so I have also purchased the Scarlett Solo. The Scarlett Solo does have Phantom power and I have it turned on, but the microphone still isn't working, can anyone please help?

watch the video. if you do not plan to use the bundled software for recording and instead use something else you can ignore the parts about their software and just refer to the on-device settings.

make sure that you are setting the gain/volume correctly, have the right input set, have the solo set as the default or recording device in windows or in your recording program and that you have the 48v power button on.

if you have an amd pc read https://global.focusrite.com/answerbase/my-scarlett-interface-is-having-problems-functioning-on-my-computer-that-has-an-amd

if the device is not recognized and your'e on intel you may want to read this...

ultimately you will want to tell us more information about what works and what doesnt as well as what appears in your settings and what doesnt and what you have tried. just saying "its not working" is not enough information to go on as this rules nothing out and it could be anything from a silly mistake on your end to a real problem with the unit requiring replacement. without information there is no way to know so all we can really do is offer up some generic advice on connectivity and setup.
