My Beneve tablet won't hold a charge more than a day

I just received my tablet over a week ago, and it won't hold charge more than day. Is this normal? I don't use often. Should I totally shut it down for the night?

It really depends on what you are doing with the tablet. Even if you aren't using it a lot, but it is left on, and any apps are open, then it could drain fast.

However, if none of that applies, then I would take it back as the battery is not lasting like it should.
