My compaq. Freezes on startup and only boots in safe mode how do i fix this

go into safe mode. runmsconfig turn everything off in start up. may also have damaged anti virus or video drivers in safe mode uninstall them if you can then reboot see if you can get back in. if not if your mb has onboard video and a gpu try pulling the gpu see if onboard video works.
