my compunter wont detect my sd card

So, i have the cyanogenmod s5830i on my samsung galaxy ace and my compunter keps saying " the device you have enterd has not been recognised" ive tried updating the drivers but nothing works.

p.s: it still works in my phone
please help me

Yes, i formatted it once i discovered that it wont work, but it still comes up with the error which is pretty strange as it still works in my phone

Will the Ace recognize any SD card (assuming you have another)? If not, I would assume that the cyanogenmod did not install correctly (or completely).
