Solved! My D200 refuses to format my SanDisk 64g card, even though it was using my SanDisk 32g with no issues period.

My D200 is in great condition and has never given me issues before. It had no problem whatsoever filling up my 32g card. So I bought a bigger card as a back up and went to use it today but even though I formatted the stupid thing about a dozen times it keeps flashing "full" and refuses to take pics. I am LIVID and so so frustrated. Someone tell me why before I take a hammer to this ancient hateful piece of junk and burn the pieces after I'm done

First thing, try the card in another device. Did you make sure the camera can work with a 64gb card?

32GB is official limit for the D200.
