My Del laptop won't start.

How can I fix it. The screen is black and it beeps 7 times intermittently. The battery is low & have been using it plugged in. If I change it will it work?

try connecting external lcd/monitor via vga/hdmi cable.. and see if u can access ur windows and goto system properties and u can try uninstalling graphics card drivers.. that may work if there is a software issue...
or your display cable in laptop needs to be replaced if ur LCD test is ok
