My dell laptops keyboard stopped working since 3 days. I have tried removing the battery and then pressing the power button for 1 min but it doesnt work

Hi,

Does your mouse pointer still work? If it does check if your Keyboard has just been disabled. Go to Device Manager then expand Keyboard and right click on the device that should drop down when you expand it. Select Enable if it's clickable, if it's not clickable try toggling your function keys see if they react like shortcut for brightness, volume etc. because if they do the keyboard might just be disabled then. Lastly try using an external keyboard and perform a System Restore and put the settings back to when it was working properly.
