My Galaxy S2 won't turn on! I have bought a new battery in hopes to fix my problem, but it still doesn't work

My cell phone broke awhile ago, and I've been using a different phone, but I recently ordered a new battery in hopes that I could fix my problem, but it didn't work. Well, it did turn on and work fine for awhile, but as soon as I turned it off again, it would not power back on! Even when I plug it in, it doesn't even show the charging icon! I've been using a very crappy phone for a long time, and my Samsung S2 was a good enough phone. PLEASE HELP

it may be a problem with your charger. do you know what the percentage of the charge was at. if it not a charger problem, get a new phone or somthing
