Heelo so the problem I am having with my new Asus G750JM Laptop is when I try to play games, the GPU will just downclock it's self all the way down to 340 Mhz. and be at 99% usage because of it and cause bad fps lag. Now the odd part is if I am in the menu of the game it will go right back to it's clock speed of 1016. This has been happening in games like Watch Dogs, Fallout NV, Oblivion, LoL, and ESO. I've tried adjusting everything to use max power 24/7. It also does it being both plugged in and un plugged, and temps isn't the issue since they usually won't go past 50 because of it.

The laptop specs are:
i7 4700MQ
GTX 860M
1TB 5400 RPM HDD
8GB of Ram

Okay so I would just like to update saying that not too long after writing this i got a BSOD that said Driver Power State Failure.

And once my laptop booted back up i went and ran Fallout NV and my GPU was no longer underclocking its self. It stayed at 1016 Mhz

go to the ASUS website and download the Nvidia Driver that they have posted for the laptop. Its a driver issue and is well known. Were all waiting for Nvidia to get on the ball and get us a new driver. That should fix your problem.

I also have the same problem, I get the same blue screen randomly when my pc switches from the Integrated GPU to the Nvidia GPU.

I will revert to the driver the manufacturer of my laptop gave, to see if it solves the problem.

My specs:
i7-4710mq
GTX 860M
8GB of Ram
