My Headphones aren't Working!

My headphones, which have been working for a bit now, suddenly stopped working, so I can no longer hear anything. I have an iPad Mini (The speakers in the Mini work). Also, the headphones are Sony Stereo Headphones.


(The iPad Mini is the first one) ( I have the 3.5mm headphone jack plugged in, if that helps somehow)
