My husband has a older model LG Samsung phone and I have a newer model LG Samsung Verizon 4G phone a while back we bought him

And older version touch screen Samsung phone and a LG Samsung Verizon 4G phone have been able to read off the same SD card until recently where is red on my husband's phone the older version touch screen am I old ZTE TracFone but my new LG Samsung Verizon 4G phone is stating that the SD card is blank when I know there's plenty of music and photos on the SD card with plenty of space to spare. Why is this suddenly happening how can I fix it quickly

The storage may have gotten encrypted on the other phone. It's not a good idea to swap the card between the phones it just increases chance it will get damaged.
