My laptop doesn't detect nvidia graphic card anymore. Help?!

I received a HP 15 TouchSmart. And I have been using it for sometime now. Sometime earlier I reset it because it was getting crowded with junk and stuff. So I backed up and reset to factory settings. Then I noticed my nvidia control panel had gone missing. And I wasn't able to install nvidia drivers either. So I figured maybe before I reset, there probably wasn't an nvidia card and a control panel got installed someone. But it didn't make sense drivers used to install. So I asked around and I was told some laptops stop detecting cards sometimes. I was wondering if there was something I could do fix this and be able to use my nvidia card again.

Go to HP's website support section.

Select your laptop model.

Download & install Nvidia graphics driver package.
