My laptop isn't charging it keeps saying plugged in, not charging

What is the battery percentage at? Some (if not all) laptops will not start charging until the battery level drops below a certain percentage.

A failing laptop battery may not take a charge.

If you have replaced the battery with a non supported battery, it may exhibit your symptoms.
