My laptop Runs Fortnite and Heroes of The Storm Poorly

Hey y'all,

I know very little about pc gaming or computers at all. So I have no idea how to get help with this so this forum was the first thing that came to mind when I came across this problem. My [strike]computer[/strike] laptop barely runs Heroes of the Storm on low settings. I literally can hardly play because of such low FPS even during low intensity bouts of walking. I also just recently downloaded Fortnite and it plays very slowly and choppy on low settings there as well. My [strike]computer[/strike] laptop is fairly cheap and may very well not be capable of running these games; however, any potential info would help!

The specs I can find (again I dont know a lot about PC's so if you can think of more specs to list, I'll need to know where to find them. This is taken directly from a Dxdiag report.)

Hello. The graphics in your laptop is most likely too weak. It's intel HD 520. Most laptops graphics cards aren't that great because 99% of users are just going to be using a web browser and regular applications when buying a laptop because that's what it's for unless you buy a very overpriced gaming laptop. If you'd like to play PC games you should buy a $300-$500 desktop. Not in a store either like put it together yourself. It'll get you a much better experience with PC gaming.

Today I was just considering making my own desktop for gaming and I don't know about a lot of parts that are needed. If you have time to recommend, what parts would you recommend that could land me in that price range?

That's a whole different topic so you need to abandon this thread and start a new one in the "Systems" forum.

Yes. Actually. If you just want to play PC games and not record them then this will do pretty much whatever you'd like at medium. Most gpu's now support recording using the gpu aswell so you could probably get away with a 720p 30 fps recording depending on the game. Alot of people on here are perfectionists and will tell you it's bad or wharever but they are the kind of people who spent way more than what you're asking on a computer so of course they will think that way.

It'll be like $415 or so.
