My Laptop won't connect to the inernet.

First of all, I would like to say that I have an Acer Aspire laptop, and this is a problem that has recently occurred.
I've had my laptop for almost a year, 9 months to be exact, and I've always been able to connect to the internet while in the living room, a few rooms over from the room in which the router is in.
Yesterday, my internet stopped working in the living room, even though it says I have a full signal, and my internet only works when I'm in the same room as the router.
This baffled me because everyone else's devices connect to the internet just fine, with no problem at all, so I know that it has nothing to do with the router.

I would like to know what I can do to fix the problem.

Could it really be failing after this early?
And do failing wireless cards still say that it picks up the signal perfectly, even though you can't connect?

yes it can if the part put in wasn't great quality to start and yes it can see the signal but not transmit if the power of the cards signal outbound is too weak

Thank you, but one more question, is it possible to replace an internal wireless card?

yes you can. youtube the removal of wireless card for your model number laptop and you should be fine
