Hello guys.

My laptop was having trouble running games because it was overheading.
I thought putting it apart, cleaning it and removing thermalpaste and reapply it would help.

After putting the computer back together it wouldnt turn on.
I noticed that when i plug in the powersupply the little icon next to it light up for 1 sec and then turn off.
I've tried taking it apart and make sure everything is plug in and nothing is missing.

On my motherboard where the 6-pin powerbutton is, i can only see 5 pins, is this the reason why it wont power on?
Its on the motherboard not the cable.

My laptop is a HP and from the Pavallion series. I don't have the laptop with me so i don't know the exact model, its a few years old.

Can anyone help me?

Best regards Frederik

Do you by anychance know if there is supposed to be 6 pins on the motherboard? i only see 5.
And by 6 pins i mean the power cabel is connected to the motherboard, the cable have 6 pins but on the motherboard i can only see 5.
