Guys I bought a new HP Probook 450 G2 and after firing it up and doing some gaming i noticed the processor tries to reach its base clock of 2.2 GHZ but once it reaches 2.0 GHZ the temperature instantaneously shoots up to 100+ºC and once that happens the processor downclocks itself to 1.5 GHZ and stays there throughout the gaming session.

At 1.5 GHZ the temperature is much more acceptable hovering around 60-70ºC . I also ran prime95 and the max clock it reached was 2.1GhZ but the temperature was already at 104ºC at that point so it could not go any further

Should i claim warranty or is the i5 5200u never meant to run constantly at its base clock 2.2GHZ
