My Laptop's performance is faster when it's not charging

I recently recognized that when I'm charging my laptop, my game's performance is getting lag spikes or dropping frames from time to time. But when It's not charging, I get flawless performance and gets no fps issues whatsoever. Has anybody resolved this problem? If so then can I you please help me? Thanks

I would venture offhand that it is due to heat since the act of charging a battery causes some heating, it may also be a case where the power adapter is not capable of both the gaming demands and charging at the same time.
I'd check heat as a first step, you can run hwmonitor http/www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html to check your temps. See if you notice a correlation between lag events and heat increases. If it is a heat issue, the use of a cooling pad should help.
