Depends on the exact model you have

e.g. this one doesn´t have a mobile modem inside:
Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 310-10ICR

and this one has the ability to use a SIM card:
Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 310-10ICR LTE

the modem is soldered to the motherboard, you will have to replace your motherboard with a Miix 310-10ICR LTE motherboard

better get a mobile hot spot or USB surfstick to get LTE connectivity

okay thanks but why does it have a combined SIM card and SD slot if it doesn't have data LTE

Because the motherboard itself is the same basic board for the LTE version as well. Just the soldered modem part is missing and it´s cheaper to use the same in the manufacturing process than designing a different one.
