Question My microphone only works occasionally

I have a Windows 10 pc, my headsets microphone doesn't always work when I first start the computer, or it even cuts off at some point while taking, even though it seems like the microphone is still connected, it just doesn't pick us sounds. I know for a fact it's not the microphone's probablem since I've changed 3 microphones so far and all of them had the same issue. I even took my pc to a technician but he was unable to find what causes it. During quarantine the microphone is necessary for my studies so I'd be glad if someone could help.
